What needs does DAT address

There are many instances in which we need to bring physical layer assets into an information management network.

For example, what railroad cars, utility meters, and prefabricated housing all have in common is that they all present a significant challenge in measuring something about them like water flow or physical presence within a yard and then getting the data back to a management system where they can be analyzed and put to good use.
