What is DATDAT is the enabling technology that supports all of Miltel's solutions. It is a wireless system for collecting, processing, archiving, and transporting data acquired by end-points connected to sensors. It also provides the return transport of control information, firmware updates, and data to the end-points. The system supports transportation of data in both directions via a Miltel proprietary radio infrastructure, which, in turn, relays acquired data in both directions via public or private networks (LAN/WAN, WiFi/WiMax, GPRS, etc.). All communications within the DAT network employ data management algorithms for maximizing data security. DAT may operate in full two-way mode from the end-point to the control application and from the control application to the end-point. This capability facilitates the downstream transport of acquired data from the end-points to the control application, as well as the upstream transport from the control application in order to process demand data requests, parameter changes, firmware upgrades, radio system management, etc. |
